We’ve all had someone in our lives tell us to eat more fruits and vegetables!
VegFest Kansas City is the only festival in town that helps you learn how delicious and nutritious plant-rich foods are! The third annual VegFest KC is on Friday June 7th from 6-10 PM, Saturday June 8th and Sunday the 9th from 10 AM to 4 PM at the City Market Park just west of the City Market also known as the River Market. There is free weekend parking just south of the park, and 2 KC Streetcar stops to the west.
This year there will be over 75 local and national vendors with delicious plant-based food and drink for the whole family to enjoy. In addition, there will be veg- friendly merchandise, products and services. Children will love the activities, and adults will enjoy relaxing in the beer garden! Everyone will enjoy connecting with local sanctuaries and their animals. This year, there will be dogs up for adoption too!
Local guest speakers including Trey Bennett, founder of IHPKC and other veg-friendly speakers and healthy cooking demonstrations daily! Stop by our booth to check out our clothing line with exclusive, original designs created by our founder and design team! Sample delicious and nutritious plant proteins from Butler Foods, apply free sunscreen, and take a quick photo in our VegPhoto Booth!
Kansas City is fortunate to have VegLife KC, a local nonprofit with volunteers dedicated to organizing plant-based events year-round to educate the public on the benefits of a plant-rich lifestyle. They work tirelessly behind the scenes to organize these amazing and delicious gatherings on a regular basis.
